This is my own personal project and has taken far to long to complete (it's still ongoing), I have owned this vehicle since 1998 and it stood rotting in my front garden for 4 years and then stayed dry but rusty until the end of January 2005. It was at this point I finally got the time and money to start the project.
Bad Apple as the car has been named was completley rotten and most people would have just bought a new shell but I couldn't resist the challenge.
I completely stripped the underside of the vehicle it has had new front floors, fitch panels, inner sills, outer sills, and front scuttle. The boot area has been complete stripped and reworked. MK1 rear light plates have been installed, the rear valence has been replaced and the boot de-seemed and the boot panel has been de-locked. It has complete refurbished de-locked doors.
It has a brand new front subframe, hilows and shockers. The rear subframe has been replaced, the bulkhead has been completly cleaned.
The whole vehicle has had rust treatment.
I have installed a 1340 engine with a 276 cam, 1.5 roller rockers, skimmed and ported head full original RC40 system. The front I have for it is a fibreglass RoadHog flip front, It has leather interior and loads more - Blah Blah Blah etc etc etc.
More picture to take yet but The project is currently on hole - I need more room.
